Unsteaedy Hydromagnetic Flow Through A Prous Medium In A Horizontal Channel Under Prescribed Discharge With Inclined Magnetic Field

چکیده

Abstract: In this paper, we consider the unsteady hydromagnetic incompressible viscous fluid flow through a porous medium in a horizontal channel under prescribed discharge, under the influence of inclined magnetic field. The undisturbed flow is due to a constant pressure gradient and the unsteadiness in the flow is created by imposing a time – dependent flux condition. The solutions for the velocity field, shear stress and the required pressure gradient are evaluated for different time models of the flux by using Laplace transform method. We have studied the effects of the inclined magnetic, porosity, time and constant pressure gradient parameters on these physical quantities.
